Mt. Geumo area is a local-national park, some activities within this area can be limited by the moutain guards officially. local people like me really enjoy the natural beauty all the time, because this has been preserved very strictly.
I went to hiking with one of my close friend who lives nearby.

A Early bird gets something better than others. Thanks to the rains last night, the fresh air between the every valley we could enjoy.

two parking lots travelers can use, one is beneath the lake, the other is beside the lake.
I recommend the one beside the lake, because many restaurants(for traditional style chicken soup) right next to the parking area. and If you had a plan to get to the summit of the moutain, it could be a long journey (the height of the moutain is less than 1,000m though)
the lake is very rommantic and preaceful place , I stongly recommend this place at summer night for the couples who want to get around with some talks after dinner.several rommantic restaurant with reasonable price and cozy atmosphere.
I remember it was a bit chilly at fall and winter.
